Sorry I’ve gone so quiet the last week or so. It takes too much energy to explain all the reasons why, but this little tidbit from the Chronicle sums up a big chunk of it:
23 percent of Texans are convinced that Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is a Muslim.
That is in contrast with the brilliant 5-10% (on average) of folks elsewhere in the country who are also convinced.
I have to assume I know at least some these people.
