So – it begins at last: Algiers charter schools open
In the face of all the terrible destruction, this chance to re-create NOLA’s school system is possibly the brightest star shining right now. I’m sure that all parents – particularly those wondering whether they can come back – will be watching the new schools carefully.
It’s hard to avoid being hopeful, and I wish them well, because good news has been a bit hard to come by for Orleans Parish.
