  2. This goes with my last post. I was way to tired last night to enter more information. We left Algiers Point Thursday at around 4:30 and did not arrive in Baton Rouge until almost 10:30 pm.
Algiers Point shows a lot of down trees and powerlines, but most homes escaped any significant damage. Most of the damage to homes that we witnessed was very minor.
Military is EVERYWHERE; we felt completely secure while driving through Algiers Point. They really are EVERYWHERE, and very friendly. We were able to connect with the Algiers Point “Fort” captains and deliver additional supplies to their home, gasoline for their generator, dry goods, etc. Last night they were going to be showing the movie, “Monty Pythons Holy Grail”. They have everything except electricity, and the Westbank is RAPIDLY gaining electricity day by day.
Thank you Algiers Point “Fort” Captains. We all owe you BIG time.
We miss our Algiers Point family and look forward to reuniting with them soon. God Bless.
