Polimom, AC (Adorable Child), and DH (Dear Husband) had a very busy weekend – with the unsurprising but frustrating result that I’m just flat-out tired today. (My grandmother would have said, “Too pooped to pop.”) Just can’t pull my thoughts together…
So – I’m going back to bed! In case you’re surfing your lunch hour or something, though, here are a couple of things I was reading this morning:
Iraq (like Polimom) is cautiously optimistic (NYTimes), and Iran evidently feels so confident in this weekend’s progress that they don’t think they need to huddle up with the US to solve the Iraqi problem now (Washington Post).
As long as we’re on the subject of the Middle East — Polimom, Too had a little something to say earlier this today about Osama bin Laden’s latest tape.
New Orleans has narrowed it down to Landrieu and Nagin, and analysts are having a lot of trouble… well.. analyzing the whole thing:
The Houston Chronicle reports that the election showed “no racial shift”, while the NYTimes says the vote “Points to Change”. Clear as mud, eh? Sigh….
OH – and last but not least — so far, nobody seems to have taken up my idea about impeaching Cheney instead of pruning the whole tree. Ah well… at least I had fun with the thought.
