Polimom’s a bit slow coming up to speed, mentally, this morning.
Adorable Child (who obviously has many generous friends) was again invited to a Houston Rodeo show — but this invitation included Polimom… and last night, the star was Beyoncé.
Three words: Loud (repeat. repeat.)
So — I’m a bit fuzzy around the edges, and hoping a second pot of coffee will kick me into gear. Soon.
Update: I’m starting to un-fuzz. The Houston Chronicle’s rodeo blog has a rundown of last night’s show, and for the most part, I agree. Beyoncé is an astounding performer, and her beauty is other-worldly.
AC and I are both disappointed overall, though, with the quality of the sound in Reliant Stadium. It’s a vast echo-chamber, and the melody, rifts, and vocals were often hopelessly blurred.
