  1. HI all,
I have a place in Algiers (Parc Fontaine)and I currently reside in Vancouver Canada. Keep up the hope. The world does care and is watching. We have just sent three Navy vessels filled to the brim with supplies and with 1000 personel. In addition, the government is sending 300 million worth of supplies on request in addition to free lumber and opening up the oil/gas reserves we have. Two contingents of several dozen search and rescue specialists are coming down – one is there now – they have rescued 87 people in two days. Lastly, 35 divers are being sent to inspect the levees. More supplies and people are coming down soon including helicopters to assist with search and rescue. The aid organizations have raised several million dollars but I am not sure how that will be distributed. Our work place is sending 2000 dollars (US) and I am sure many others are doing the same.
    Keep the faith,
    Tom

  2. I, too, was interviewed by BBC Radio Berkshire yesterday and the Barking & Dagenham Post (an East London newspaper). Also spoke to Wayne Janak. He is safe, needs Heineken & cigs. Looking after old folks & puppies. The “Algiers Pernt Militia” seem to have things under control. Gary from Tout de Suite was collected from Houma by family and gone to Houston. Still volunteering at the Houma Civic Center. If anyone is planning a dinner party for 1000 guests, I can assist with the amount of lettuce you will need. Things are pretty well organized here in Coon Ass country, just short of gas. Wendy & I may try to get into the Pernt tomorrow,
See y’all at the local boozers soon!
    Cheers, Kevin.
