I’m tense. The track of this storm is just so very bad, and the only ray of hope I’m seeing just now for NOLA is that Gustav dropped to a Cat 3 in the night, and may hit land now as a Cat 4 or weaker.
I can’t find any of “my” people, and I’m supposed to be the Point of Contact. I’ve been calling and writing since yesterday, and all I can really do now is wait.

I’m really glad they are allowing pets on the public evacuation. I cannot imagine having to choose between going to safety and taking care of my dog. And I can’t understand people who evacuate by car and do not take pets along.
Please share any info you and AC uncover about helping.
