For quite awhile, I’ve been focusing (haha Polimom! Good pun!) this blog primarily on photography — or at least, trying to use my photography to enhance how I look at the world.
Yes, I’ve babbled and dabbled about politics here and there, but for the most part, I’ve held back — not necessarily because I wasn’t following events, but because I really didn’t want to go “there” again.
Lately, though, I’ve been getting sucked back in. (It really is kinda like a vortex, ya know?) Commenting here and there, leading to posts here and there…. and before I knew it, I was hooked again!
But I still like this quiet little space here, just the way it is these days.
So, I re-launched Polimom, Too today over at the Houston Chronicle.
I haven’t a clue how much I’ll be writing (much less whether anyone will read it!) — but as I wrote there today, sitting on the sidelines worrying and complaining is not going to solve anything.
I’ll try to remember to mention here when I post there, but I can’t promise anything. Because I’ve decided that politics and photography really don’t mix well.

HAHAHA @ marc!
Or she could mix politics and drug abuse in athletics, and call it poliroid.com.
