I haven’t had a lot to say the last few days — at least, not here on the blog. Why bother? The shouting and shrieking is hitting a crescendo, and there’s not a lot of point in voicing my tiny voice — here or anywhere.
This weekend, in particular, was bad… and somewhere between the ignorance of the woman in the diner in North Carolina and the vilification of Colin Powell, I finally hit the over-saturation point on the elections.
Luckily, they opened the polls today here in Texas for early voting.

I agree. Between the McCain-Palin folks displaying their stupidity or hate, and the “Obama is a god” and “Palin is, like, so stupid” people, I am almost wishing that the world would go back to freaking out about Paris/Britney/Lindsey/moronic person of the week.

I am hoping that Nov 5 finds everyone slapping eachother on the back and saying “Good game! See ya at the next big match in 4 years, right?”.
But I think there are going to be a lot of folks being even nastier then they are right now. They will have nothing to lose, so why pull any punches. And I mean folks on each side.
