Thanks to some friends from Algiers Point who’ve emailed, I’ve managed to run down “my” people finally.
They’re good.
Everybody’s out who could go, and safely located outside the major danger areas. Those who couldn’t get out, of course, will be busily keeping the streets and water safe in the coming days.

I really was starting to panic a bit… so seriously, thank you for the help.
And on an irrelevant, but truly bizarre note: I gather NOLA is enjoying lovely blue skies just at the moment.
Go figure.
